1. Overview & Service Scope

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the Jorvin mobile application (hereinafter referred to as “the App”), a lightweight professional video speed adjustment tool developed for personal use. The core service of Jorvin is to enable users to upload local video files and freely adjust video playback speed to meet personalized video editing and viewing needs. This policy clarifies the standards, scope and rules of user data processing during the use of the App, as well as the privacy rights and protection measures of all users.

By downloading, installing and using the App’s video speed adjustment functions, you acknowledge that you have carefully read, fully understood and unconditionally agreed to all terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept any clause herein, you must immediately terminate the use of the App and delete all local data generated by the service.

2. User Age Qualification Restriction

This App is only available for users aged 18 and above. Individuals under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from registering, accessing and using all functions and services of the App.

The video speed adjustment function provided by the App is designed for adult users’ personal video processing and daily entertainment scenarios. It does not target minors, nor does it provide services for any minor group. The platform will not actively collect, store or process any personal information, device data or video content of minors. In case any minor-related data is unintentionally retained due to accidental system exceptions, we will implement complete and permanent deletion without delay. All users confirm that they have full civil capacity to bind themselves to this policy when using the App.

3. Data Processing Standards & Scope

Jorvin strictly abides by the minimum necessity and user authorization priority principles in data processing. All data operations are limited to the realization of video uploading and speed adjustment functions. The App only processes user data actively initiated and authorized by users, and does not conduct any excessive collection, hidden monitoring or unauthorized data analysis behaviors. The specific processed data types are as follows:

3.1 User Video Content

All local video files independently uploaded by users for speed adjustment processing. The App only reads and parses video content locally to complete speed modification processing, and does not actively identify or extract any private information in the videos.

3.2 Processed Video Files

New video files generated locally after users adjust the playback speed of the original videos. All processed videos are stored in the user’s local device and controlled independently by the user.

3.3 Anonymous Operation Logs

To optimize the App’s running stability, fix functional bugs and improve video processing compatibility, we will anonymously collect non-identifiable basic operation data, including device system version, App running status and crash logs. Such data cannot identify any individual user and is only used for internal product optimization.

4. Legal Purposes of Data Processing

All user data processed by the App is only used for the following legitimate and necessary service purposes, without any commercial reuse or unauthorized expansion of usage scope:

• Execute core functions: Complete local video parsing, playback speed adjustment and video file generation to realize personalized video speed control services.

• Optimize user experience: Analyze anonymous operation data to improve the compatibility of different video formats, processing efficiency and App running fluency.

• Maintain service stability: Detect and repair functional faults during video processing to ensure the continuous and stable operation of core functions.

• Handle user demands: Respond to user consultations, functional feedback and privacy-related inquiries through official dedicated email.

5. Data Storage & User Control Rights

All user uploaded original videos and speed-adjusted processed videos are completely stored and processed locally on the user’s mobile device. The platform does not have any remote server upload, cloud synchronization or automatic backup functions for user video content. No user video data will be actively transmitted to the platform server or any third party.

Temporary cache data generated during video parsing and speed adjustment will be automatically cleared after the single processing task is completed. Users have full and independent control over all video files. You can save, delete, manage and clear local video resources at any time. Once deleted, the relevant data will be permanently erased without residual backups and cannot be recovered.

6. Data Sharing & External Disclosure Rules

Jorvin strictly adheres to the privacy confidentiality principle and will never sell, lease, share or transmit any user video content, processing records and private operation data to any third-party institutions, enterprises or individuals in daily operation.

The App adopts independent localized operation and does not embed any third-party data statistics SDK, data sharing interface or user behavior tracking program. The only exception for data disclosure is mandatory legal requirements: the platform may disclose relevant data in strict accordance with effective judicial rulings, law enforcement orders and national legal provisions.

7. Data Security Protection Measures

The platform builds a secure local operating environment for all video processing behaviors. All video uploading and speed adjustment operations run in an isolated local sandbox, which can effectively prevent data leakage, tampering and illegal access. The platform implements strict internal permission management, and no staff can view, obtain or export user local video data in any form, fully protecting user video privacy and data security.

8. Non-Sensitive Data Processing Commitment

The App’s functional logic is single and focused on video speed adjustment processing only. We will not actively identify, collect or analyze any sensitive private information contained in user videos, including biological features, geographic information, voice content and other sensitive data. All processing operations are purely technical video parameter adjustment behaviors without any private data mining.

9. Cache & User Tracking Statement

The App only uses basic local cache technology to ensure the smooth progress of video processing tasks. We do not use Cookies, tracking tools or third-party monitoring services to record user usage habits, operation tracks and private preferences. Users can manually clear App cache through device settings at any time without affecting the normal use of video speed adjustment functions.

10. User Content Compliance Responsibilities

Users shall bear full independent legal responsibility for all video materials uploaded and processed by themselves. Users undertake not to use the App’s speed adjustment function to process, disseminate or produce illegal, infringing, pornographic, violent and other non-compliant content that violates national laws and public order and good customs.

The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service qualification of users who violate compliance regulations, and reserves the right to pursue legal liabilities for illegal acts.

11. Policy Update & Notification Rules

We reserve the right to update and revise this Privacy Policy irregularly in accordance with product function iteration and national personal information protection laws and regulations. The latest policy version will be publicly displayed inside the App with a clear update date. Users’ continued use of the App’s services after the update is deemed as acceptance of the revised policy terms.
